A Few Newborn Must-Haves

Hi mamas! A couple of us here at Lucy Darling have brand new little ones, and we wanted to share what's been helping us get through those foggy first weeks (besides coffee, and any naps we can steal, of course!).

1. I LOVE my Sakura Bloom ring sling. I used it with my oldest until she was at least a year and a half, and started using it again with this little one when she was less than a week! It's so easy and fast to put on, and I found that speed was very important when trying to calm down a fussy baby before things escalated. 15 seconds to put her in the sling and get her cozy, and she's happier!

2. We live in a small place, so the much-loved Snuggabunnies/puppies/etc swings simply take up too much floor space. At first I didn't know about spending twice as much on a swing, but the 4moms rockaRoo has been a total lifesaver! (The baby's actually in it as I type right now.) It takes up barely any space, the rocking motion works like a charm, and the sleek design is just a bonus. So glad we went with this!

3. Besides being cute, the little lamb on the WubbaNub pacifier helps keep the pacifier stay in (less fumbling for it in the car/middle of the night), and the baby loves holding it.

4. Aden + Anais have a cult following for a reason. These blankets can be used for everything: stroller shade, car seat covers, swaddle blankets, big burp cloths, nursing covers, and more. And they just get softer over time! I'm actually still using big sister's for the new baby and they're better than ever.
