Friendship Day

I know that every time we turn around it's a new "national ______ day!" holiday...but there's one that I think is worth a little extra effort! August 6th is apparently Friendship Day, and I love the idea of surprising friends with a little something to show how much they mean to you. Here are a couple of ideas:

And for the mom-friends, without whom we might forget to change out of yoga pants every now and then, drink coffee while it's still hot, and remember how to talk to adults, geraniums are the flowers that mean "friendship" :).
